Recreational Adult Concealment Courses

This beginner course is offered to wildlife photographers and hunters who need more than the basic concealment offered from standard camouflage clothing.  Focus is aimed more towards scent and sound control relating to more acute animal senses.  Suit concepts are patterned around static and low mobility positions.

A fun-filled, one-hour course designed for school-aged children who want to learn ghillie suit construction for Halloween or hiding from their friends and siblings.  Parents are encouraged to dress their children in long-sleeves/pants with muted/subdued colors or camouflage clothing.  Adults are welcome to attend this non-tactical course.  No discussion of firearms or hunting is included in this child-friendly course.  Classes will be located at local forest preserves or parks based on availability.  Group rates are available for 5 or more students.

Nature Spy/Junior Fieldcraft Course

Professional/Tactical Concealment Courses

Beginning and advanced courses are available to civilians and law enforcement agencies.  Special group discounts are available for SWAT/sniper and paintball/airsoft teams that sign up five or more team members to attend any of the offered courses.  Suit concepts are designed for both static positions and various mobility requirements.

Military & Law Enforcement Courses

We offer concealment consulting and training to members of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies.   Courses focus on urban and rural surveillance techniques, Rapid Response/SWAT ghillie suit designs and sniper camouflage and concealment.  Contact us to schedule a course held at your training facilities and for special group pricing.

Hourly Instruction

Classes are affordable and are taught with a one-on-one approach or small group setting.  Classes are open to any age, but those students under 18 years of age must have parental consent.  Rates are $20 per FULL hour, with most students desiring 2-3 sessions for individual suit design and to complete portions of their custom suit.  For those in the Rockford area region, please call 815-985-5659 to schedule a class.

Course Locations

Law enforcement agencies, paintball/woodsball groups in Illinois can schedule a course/seminar to be held at their organization or training facility. 

We are currently looking into offering courses in other states at other tactical training facilities throughout the country as scheduling permits.  If you would like us to provide a training seminar for your agency, group or organization, please contact us.

All recreational/civilian courses are taught at the lower level of the Sherwin-Williams paint store located at 4923 East State Street  Rockford, Illinois across from Rockford College unless specified.
